Why Print With Lauren
I'm cheaper than the print shops
I always compare my prices with the big print studios in London; namely The Print Space and Beyond Print. Since I'm doing prints from my home studio I can offer lower prices than the big studios.
-
I do sample prints
I print samples of the piece before producing the full batch. I take pictures and videos of them to send to you, and we adjust together. So it means you'll always know what you're getting and there will be no surprises. You won't have mishaps or accidentally neon prints at the print studio ever again!
-
The standard of quality matches professional print studios
I am so proud that I'm able to do this. My prints are the same quality in every aspect to those at the professional print studios. Professional archival giclée prints that will outlive you and I. My paper is the same, the ink is the same, and the print quality and resolution are all equal in quality to those you get from professional studios.

I'm available during non-office hours
I'm available during art fair weekends which I know is super handy for all of us last minute artists!

FAQs
What is the biggest size you print?
The biggest size I can print is an A2 sheet (420 x 594mm).
-
Do you do non A-sizes?
I print in A-size sheets but can cut them down to any size. For example I can do A2 squares by cutting an A2 down. They'll be charged according to the sheet size I need to use to print!
-
I don't know how to set up files with sizes and borders! I'm not good with graphics...
Most artists I produce prints for are not familiar with graphics at all! All you need to do is send me your scan/photo. I create layouts with borders, to whatever specs you want, and make all the colour adjustments myself so that it looks as close as possible to your original image!
-
What type of paper do you use?
I mostly only use Hahnemuhle German Etching Paper, along with my customers too. It seems to be the industry gold standard for archival giclée prints and I always recommend it. However, I'm happy to order in other art papers and set up printing for other types of paper too!
-
How do I get my prints - pickup/dropoff or do you post?
I find it really easy to meet up at a train station for dropoffs, either near you or somewhere in the middle! It seems to be the quickest and easiest way for my customers to get their prints quickly. I can also post them - I wrap them very well so it's not a hassle!
-
Do you print my original image or do you make colour adjustments before you print?
I print from Photoshop, where I view the print through a filter which allows me to see what the print colours will look like before they come out. I find it is always necessary to make colour adjustments so that the prints match your original image as closely as possible. No accidental neon prints from the print shop ever again! (unless intended...)
-
Can you print borderless?
Sadly no, if you're looking for a full A-size borderless print. However I can do smaller prints and cut them down to be borderless.
